If your wheels are scratched, pitted or even not polished from the factory, then they will need to be sanded. If you have durabrite wheels and you need the coating removed so they can be polished, they will also need to be sanded.
This is for wheels that have been polished previously and just need to be brought back to the original luster, or in some cases even better than new.
